Its a really good series of books, and its truly a shame that the movie adaptation destroued everything Cressida Cowel built so badly. It truly is a must-read and I'd recommend it to anyome who likes to read fiction with a tint of humour. The entire series is a parody where Fate has in store the life of a Hero for Hiccup, who wants a normal, quiet life, the lack of peacefulness detailed in his many adventures, and his matureness and character growth are quite amazing throughout the books. Truly a must-read.
