Attachment theory is important, but all of the anecdotes in this book are elementary at best. Many of the opinions can be argued against with other well known physcologists' and philosophers' theories. I conclude with two main points: there are plenty of theories that counter this book's anecdotes; the only important point in this book is the attachment styles, which you can easily find online. The rest of it is a bunch of fluff/middle school examples of these attachment styles.
