Only a 6.8? I’m surprised it’s not a solid 7. I really enjoyed this movie. Honestly the first half even more than the second just because the second half is in darkness and pure action (not that I have any issue with action) but it has to be captivating and it was too dark honestly. I absolutely loved this movie that’s the only critique I can even say and it’s cancelled out by the amazing duo that’s these two are in this. They are so believable with this love story. I would give this movie 8.5 stars

If the purpose of the show is to gradually get more annoyed and angered by the negligence of Norma bates then mission accomplished. You don’t even have to go any further than season 3. There are so many opportunities for character arch’s and changes for the better only to be disappointed one after another time. Why suffer through it in form of “entertainment “ you can see the downfall of a family for free anywhere in the country. I have no respect for a story that has no soul and when people fail without trying for redemption at some point it just becomes indulgent. Norma Bates and her sickening toxic relationship with her son makes my skin crawl.

It was creepy and I think I’ll appreciate it more at a later date. The first time was a bit much for me. (There’s definitely some images that will be hard to get out of your head) but so was hereditary and now I think it’s just shocking. This movie grossed me out and kept me extremely interested all at the exact same time. I honestly didn’t like the disgusting way they show food being eaten. If you have a weak stomach I would hold off on this, or maybe pause it when it gets too much lol. There is a part in this movie that is so sexist that I couldn’t contain the laughter with how over the top it was. Anyways I’m still giving this a really high score.

For what reason this doesn’t have a 5 star rating I can assure you I don’t know. This movie was original in every way. Masterfully crafted mind f@ck that was thrilling and at times unsettling. This is what Hollywood has been missing with the past ten years of no risk taking or original ideas. This movie kept me guessing and interested until the very end! Highly recommend!

This movie was mediocre. It’s another reminder of why 10 year later sequels don’t usually work.

I am both blown away and saddened at how untrustworthy peoples reviews of movies are. Don't get me wrong I know James Wan didn't have the director chair in this one but I loved this movie from beginning all the way to the end. I'm a huge fan of insidious chapters 1 and 2. 3 was garbage I don't think anyone is debating that, but what made chapters 1 and 2 work (besides Wans genius) was keeping it all relevant to this families story and the red door did that incredibly well. There's a side character in here and she is super likeable character. This wasn't the scariest movie of the 3 but I wasn't going in with that being my biggest need. I didn't see this movie right away because I looked at poor ratings and after just seeing this film I regret I didn't watch it sooner.

I can't believe people rating this movie lower than 4. Don't get invested in zombie movie characters some are bound to turn. This movie has such a cool Hitchcock like scene that I enjoyed a lot. Not movie for everyone. I loved it
