(SPOILERS) The concept of the book was good as a whole, and I loved how the main character finally escaped the "chains" of his brothers. He was finally able to create a new society where one could be their own person with their own ideas, their own choice of jobs, and their own free will. However, I took the book as sort of a satire, because it was too extremist. It dehumanizes those fighting for racial equity, equity of the sexes, etc. Obviously, those advocating for equity/equality do not mean what is being depicted in this book (a dystopian society). It's very easy for someone to fall victim to a conservative mindset. Nonetheless, it shows how as humans we must find the perfect balance of equity. Not too extreme, and not too little.
