I generally love Adam Sandler films but not this one. Perhaps there is some deep underlying meaning to this film which escapes me. Was there really a giant spider or was he hallucinating? Adam Sandler's character never inquired how the spider entered aboard the space craft nor did he question how it instantly went from being inside to outside the ship. Aside from the spider I would summarize the film as being about a relationship falling apart because the husband "runs away" when times are difficult and finally comes to the realization that isn't who he wants to be and apologizes to his wife promising he will do better. If you want to see a good Sandler film recommend Wedding Singer, Blended, Water Boy, etc

Special effects are nice but the going back and forth between the hospital and what appears to be reality gave me a headache.
