It was an incredible movie. I had high hopes for this movie for Batman being one of my favorite characters of all time, and most certainly my favorite DC character. The movie gave such a perfect vibe of what Gotham would be like in this world: slimy, dark, rainy, mucky, and most of all, corrupt. I loved the riddler; Paul Dano is an incredible unhinged actor for characters that are creepy like this (Watch Prisoners with Hugh Jackman, it's a great one, he's in it too). I can't say definitively that Pattinson is my favorite batman, but he certainly is a top 2 for me behind Christian Bale for now. He does play a younger and more naive Bruce Wayne, but I would like to see him become more of the philanthropic and playboy Bruce Wayne that masquerades in the day and by night is crimefighting. He's got range, and I am sure Robert Pattinson will over time become a whole new generation's Favorite Batman for sure. Zoe Kravitz is incredible and I loved her dynamic with batman. I think they can take her story and her relationship to many places, and I can't wait to see that explored. Everyone was great in the movie. I did wish more of Andy Serkis, but all I can say is I hope there is more. He is a different interpretation of Alfred, most similar to that of the TV show Gotham to be honest. Overall, the runtime didn't annoy, and the movie felt like it could keep going. I loved the arc batman goes through by the end discovering that he could be more than just vengeance, but eventually a symbol of hope. Anyway, easily a top 5 batman movie for me, and most definitely one of the best live action interpretations for sure. 9/10 for me (Might change, but I still think the TDK is the greatest comic book movie of all time)
