It is obvious that the writer is an American when he was trying to portray the actors as Iraqi. He failed because they did not act/speak like Iraqi people. The script was dry and did not have a real storyline behind it. We do not know the background of the characters and their motives. It seems that the target audience for this movie is Americans because it does resonate with me as an Iraqi. Despite the awful storyline/script, the cinematography was beautiful.
