This is the best version of A Christmas Carol ever made. Respect is due to Alastair Sim, George C. Scott, Patrick Stewart, Jim Carrey, Bill Murray and all but bringing this brilliant tale into modern dark times was a genius idea brilliantly executed. Apparently Ross Kemp was the main driver behind this London Weekend Television version and I have no doubt that Charles Dickens would be the first to pat him on the back for his superb take on the classical story.
