The fact that it’s basically only shot in one setting and 90% is all Jake Gyllenhaal and phone audio and I was riveted…..is a massive feat. The story is tragic but so well written and executed. It zeros in on mental illness and the instabilities of the system and those in it. But JG performance is what really keeps you glued to the screen. It’s unlike any movie I’ve ever seen.
