I always wondered why Norman Bates was acting like his mother in the original movie. This series answered every question and more. To watch the young Norman evolve from a young boy into the man in the original black and white film was so gripping. The casting of Norman is perfect Freddie Highmore's resemblance to what Norman looks like as a man is incredible ! Vera Farmiga's performance is impeccable mother Norma Bates. ! No two other actors could play these roles this good. I re-watched it with my fiancé. He was hooked, he loved it. They wrote this the best and followed the original perfect. Everything about this series was great!

Erica Jayne..is such a terrible actress, watching her trying to gain the sympathy card from the other housewives is too funny and those fake tears and sad long face since she is divorcing Tom is the best entertaining she's done she she's been on. She was the smug, evil, snotty wife who was too good to even talk with the other ladies in the past..now she singing like a bird. Talk about supporting your spouse!! If she was not in on all Tom's shenanigans she would be with him trying to figure it all out, but she knows all to well what he has been doing......guilty guilty guilty !!!! Is written all her face.....I hope she has to pay back every cent to those victims THEY STOLE FROM
