I remember being a huge fan of the UK version years back.
The problem with this version is that by attempting to make the viewer uncertain, they've ruined the fun of having a real guess.
I feel like a few minor changes of rules and filming would make this truly amazing.
Make it voting out the mole, actually let viewers watch more of the people and understand them.
Either way, the players might vote the mole out but will still wonder. The viewers getting to really analyse the players without the manipulative editing, would mean teams for each player. Because they would have genuine theories as opposed to the very clear "let's make it look like they're all suspicious".
It feels like too many ideas smashed together on such a beautifully simple game that would be thrilling. Even if viewers knew the mole, it would be hectic and frustratingly exciting to watch them trying to work it out.
