Well made documentary with an interesting range of subjects.

Sorry but this is a terrible film. I went to watch this in the cinema when it came out and it was highly disappointing being I was looking forward to it. The cast are usually excellent but do a poor job acting in this. Saoirse Ronan is usually top notch but over acted and terrible performance in this so I would put this film's amateur delivery down to the director's lack of skill. Tom George should stick to comedy on the telly and not make another film. His comedy dramas are where his talent lies.

Stunning film with wonderful performances and cinematography. Subtle script and direction from John Crowley. It's much more than just an average romance film. I have watched this several times and it's always as good as the first watch. This is my favourite film, a huge fan of period dramas and I watch every film with Saoirse Ronan and in my humble opinion I think this is her best film. Definitely worth your time, highly recommended!
