It was good. Theres no explanation of why what was happening was happening, but thats real life. You don’t get answers all the time theres a thing in a house gathering murderous raping evil spirits killing people no one cares about. the main character is just as confused as the audience, and has no other option but to try to escape her fate. Sure she could gtfo, but due to circumstances she cant. Theres a hopelessness helplessness loss and defeat that occurs at the end of the movie that feels appropriate and no one gets out alive. Theres no book, theres no guide, theres no answers, no one to help…theres just confusion and hopelessness and that scared the fuck out of me…more than anything recently has. You know whats really scary? Getting killed by something you had no fucking idea was even there. If you can put yourself in the main characters shoes for a minute youll be scared too
