The movie is about a group of professionals going into a quarantined Vegas, filled with zombies to get some money from a Casino. It's fun to see the action and all but the whole story is very dumb and mindless. You get annoyed by everyone's poor decisions and nothing make any sense.
SPOILER alert!
First of all, if they were only sent to get the head of the Queen, then what was all that fuzz about? That annoying person easily did what he wanted to do without needing any help and they could just run away after they stole the head and do whatever they wanted to do with it.
Reasons behind people choices are so stupid. I don't know how Zack Snyder thinks of people. Does he actually see people like this or is it him thinking like that. That's a mystery!
He tried to put so many details in this movie and he couldn't finish most of them. Like he wants to show that David Batista's daughter cares about the children in the camp. That's why she leaves the group and tries to find their mother which could be 99% dead in a tower full of alpha zombies. But did you really buy that?? Like who does that?? And she dies at the end??Oh and btw did they just nuke a city with all those camps around it full of people? How did it take so long for the guy who got trapped in the safe to turn if he was bitten? There's a lot I'll just stop.
What the fudge was that time loop scene for? Was he trying to make fun of other movies with that theme or is he trying to keep the doors open for a second movie? Anyway, I don't like his comedy at all. I think it's very basic and lame.
Okay so in general, the action scenes are cool. I like the exaggeration of bleeding which reminds me of Tarantino movies. Story is weak and pointless. I'll give it a 2.5 coz I like the action.
