Broome County is my home town. This book was written by a person familiar with the growth of our area. The Carousel Capital of the World is part of my heritage. A nice page reserved for information on George F. Johnson, a man who stood alone in his time. A person for the people, one to not be forgotten. He donated the carousels so children of hard working families could enjoy without cost to them. The story about a boy who wants to ride a white horse on the Carousel.
