The animation and fight scenes were absolutely amazing don’t get me wrong but when it comes to the actual story it was lacking heavily. I know there are people out here saying that it’s black clover and it about not giving up and slandering anyone who doesn’t like it saying they don’t understand the anime, but they barely gave any context other than a few short flashbacks for why the villains were villains. While watching this move I was constantly annoyed by the same conversations being said over and over and a few things make zero sense like Asha’s sword being blocked by a magic barrier when it’s able to cut through and deflect magic depending on how it’s used . I know they do stuff for the story but make it make sense. I loved most of the rest of the movie and for the people who say” oh you must not have watched the anime or read the manga so you don’t know what you’re talking about” stfu cause I have and I know what I’m talking about things aren’t always perfect like people say this movie was.
