This book, the Teaching Reading in the Elem, is very essential on the development not only the reading skills of the learners but even other communication skills; the speaking, listening, and writing as they are interconnected with each other. Basically, reading encompasses; phonetic awareness ( cognizing the letters or graphemes) and phonemic exposure ( exposing learners the sounds/ or phonemic equivalent of each grapheme ). Sound enunciation are being developed, at their very early. Moreover, comprehension is developed too. That the most reasons why man reads, that he wants to be informed. So his understanding of what he reads and his connection with the text, taught and encouraged him to share it to others through writing.
