This movie will not win awards, but if your yearning to glimpse back into young love with some tantalizing pg13 sex scenes go for it. I was entertained and it was a fun escape. Its an angst filled love story with the kind of conflict that young lovers deal with as they navigate what it means to be in a relationship. Its messy, but so is young love. I read a review that worried this movie glorified toxic relationships. I don't agree with that. Its a story, whose content is no worse or better than a Cinderella story or The Fault in our stars. Life isn't perfect and safe and the characters we watch or read about aren't either.
