Lyle Cohen

The characters are flat and faux-hip, the direction is awful, the script is insufferable and it’s extremely pandery to a youth culture that is completely performative and deeply apathetic without realizing it. Any attempt at an emotional moment is so hammered in while having nothing of substance to back it up, the music choices seem as though the director just put their playlist on and the series as a whole portrays a sort of supposed micro-utopia that is nothing if not dull.
