I got this game because it was free and I wanted to get back into the AC series. This game was really fun, the protagonist (Ezio) is charming and just overall likable. I do have a few complaints though,one being that the controls. The keyboard and mouse controls were just overly complicated, but using an Xbox 360 controller makes it much much better. Although that isn't the end for the controls, even with a controller the button mapping makes no sense at all and half the time you find your self jumping the wrong way or just doing the wrong thing, but once you get used to it there shouldn't be any major issues(although it should be mentioned that the camera was also weird for me, and because of it I never really attempted air assassinations). The game is also not smooth, running it with a 6 core i7 and a rtx 2070, the game just feels sluggish compared to brotherhood or syndicate. Overall if you can get over the controls and are willing to redo some free running, it will amaze you how good this game is. Honestly if this ever gets a remaster, I know what I will be pre-ordering.
