I think the movie would be better if it didn't have the boring "flshbacks" and It stuck with the mom and the children surviving.the characters who died wernt compelling because the caracters were boring.and it was a normal end of the world movie which was not interesting at all.the mother protecting her children from unknown things was the most interesting and coolest aspects of the movie and only maybe half of the movie is dedicated to this.
