First off let me start by saying that I play Madden hundreds of hours every year since the 90's. This one is actually a good Madden. While I agree that the franchise mode needs a refresh, the actual gameplay is some of the best I've ever experienced on Madden. I've seen animations i never even dreamed of, like a ball carrier (I've seen this with WR and RB) reaching forward for the first down as they were being tackled. The game isn't perfect, as there are a few glitches, but I don't think I've played a madden yet that didn't have some glitches. Overall this is a much better Madden gameplay wise than any other that I've experienced on this generation of consoles.
