Everyone should watch it! Based on a true story. No frills, no song or dance. Engrossing. Well acted.

A one-time watch, but don't run to the theater since you won't really miss much if you wait until it's on Netflix. Script: B-/C+ Acting: Ajay D was okay. Basically he acts and sounds the same in his last 5 movies, and this role didn't give him an opportunity to expand his repertoire or show his acting chops. Vani Kapoor had very little screen time and did fine. She looked good in a traditional avatar. Riteish Deshmukh was very good and dominated the screen. Cameos by Amit Siyal, Supriya Pathak and Rajpal Yadav were great! Overall, the script needed to be tighter.

Acting: 5/5 Script: 3/5 Weaknesses: Anti-india bias, mainly pro-Pakistan, and not a balanced view, doesn't counterbalance anything about Indians captured or detained In a similar manner, so it's a very one-sided view.

It was good in the beginning, slowly and steadily went downhill from about the halfway point. Too many superhuman stunts by Abraham, whom of course we enjoy watching in action sequences, but they saturated a story with good potential with endless impossible action sequences. Sharvari acted well. John Abraham, hmmm, much too much, taking the believability and effectiveness down from 3 to 2.5 stars.

Vicky kaushal acting: 5/5 Rashmika: 4/5, Diana: 3/5 Script: 3/5 Cinematography: 5/5 Action: 5/5 with many extended sequences. There was less of an emphasis on character development or exposing more layers of an engrossing fact-based/historic story. What was sorely missing was raw emotion, despite being rooted in reality and history, exposing the extreme torture, cruelty and deceptions of the Mughals. They dragged the ending by 15 minutes, detailing the torture which was difficult to watch so unimaginable that these superhuman humans had to endure this. Overall, B+. If I watched it at home, I might have had to forward the extended torture scenes at the end.

3.5 stars Acting: 5 /5 Action: 5/5 Script: somewhat loose and confused at the end, but overall okay. Not bad. Worth an afternoon out in a theater.

Yumna as Mahjabeen was flawless, she made one laugh, cry a lot, and want to reach out and protect that pure goodness and soothe her utter child like innocence.She lights up the screen with her presence and her comic timing was good! Searha Asghar as her sister-in-law was also good and a strong character. The show began to drag after the 19th episode so it could have been a couple of episodes shorter. The actresses who were cast as Abdullah's mother, Yumna's mother and Sarwar's mother were all perfectly cast. Spoiler alert!!!! It made one cringe to see how Mahjabeen still accepts him without reservation despite all the insults, indifference and inhumane treatment against her and her parents. She should have kicked him to the curb but still let him be part of her child's life. Overall, engrossing and had some very emotional and laugh out loud moments courtesy Yumna Zaidi.

Started off with a promising plot and went steadily downhill, with vague character development, unnecessarily long and superhuman action sequences. What a waste of good actors.

Thought it would be intriguing, frightening, terrifying, but it turned into a joke.

Loose script. Good action, but long drawn out sequences. Could've been far better.
