Lorentz Tate delivers a fantastic performance par usual. The supporting cast did a great job as well. Good script, with romance, suspense and a surprise twist that I did not predict.

The gist of this telenovela is a Rich woman that is abandoned by her husband and left penniless and homeless. She is left with no choice but to move and work in a working-class neighborhood. I am learning Spanish and this is the perfect vehicle for me to sharpen my listening skills in a very entertaining way. Many of the conversations are spoken slowly enough to be understood. Although I use English subtitles, at times I can understand the conversation without them. If you are a serious person and do not like over the top plots, this is not the show for you. On the other hand, if you view the show for what it is - a feel good romantic comedy - you will love Silvana sin lana. The characters on the show work well together and have great chemistry. Watch out though, the show is addictive. I have been awake until 4:00 a.m. in the morning binge-watching many episodes.
