It has the backbone and feel of Star Trek but runs more like an ongoing movie. Rather than the individual episodes where success runs deep at the end of each show, this is the story of Burnham. If you can get over that, then it is well produced, smooth and slick, and fast moving that keeps interest high. Maybe it shouldn’t have the sir title of Star Trek; that might keep people from being so critical.
