Absolutely timelessly brilliant piece. The plot, script and actors are all top flight. So wonderful seeing 1968 Mia Farrow, John Cassavetes and Ruth Gordon in a highly suspenseful and well-crafted supernatural thriller. Ive watched it at least a half dozen times. And will continue doing so for the duration.

While I’ve viewed scores of Escobar movies, Ive yet to see one that placed a love story at its center. Also, while highly tragic in its entirety, it managed to end on an uplifted note in a manner quite unusually unexpected.
