Fantastic movie!! Clean, crisp, thoughtful, inspiring, riveting, musically magic, soul-wrenching, gut-punching .. so real, so human, so universal, so sad, yet hopeful!

I loved the discussion about dealing with climate change between Eddie and Noah this morning. It was refreshing to hear data/facts in a relatively lengthy (at least, for a TV news show) debate! It was wonderful to have a few minutes not hearing "Trump" as well!
Also, I recently saw an interview online of a former AP reporter who said the press needs to cover the military better. I had no idea the U.S. was involved in 9 wars around the world. The military industrial complex that Eisenhower warned us about is in full swing. If we had a draft, I'll bet many of those wars would quickly end. I wish we spent as much on the Peace Corps as we do on the military. Why isn't MJ covering this topic?
It's also interesting that Elizabeth Warren says she agrees with Trump that we are in too many overseas military operations. She thinks the U.S. should have an (intelligent) plan to get out of those operations, however. Seems to me, this reporting would make for a good MJ discussion...
Update: Hey, Morning Joe... looks like the writers of Madame Secretary understand how important it is to watch the military industrial complex! I just watched Sunday's show on that topic.
MJ used to have really interesting guests who covered a wide array of topics. It was really educational. Now the show just repeats what every other news show is saying about Trump and Congress. The questions NBC reporters ask Trump are pitiful. Still waiting for a White House reporter to ask Trump to define what he means by "border security." Does he really think it's only a wall?
Rachel Maddow is the only news hosts who has in-depth, interesting, and educational programs. There is no reason MJ can't do the same...
