I watched for the first time quite by accident. I missed the first 10 minutes, that didn't matter. The film had my attention from that first scene and kept me glued to the screen. It smacks a bit of 1984 and the Matrix, but it had a lot of action and realism related to this particular dystopian society. It was its own story and different from the others—not a whole lot, but different. I'm an Indie Filmmaker and very picky about what I like in a film. I judge on its content, storyline, action, cuts, lighting, acting, music and come up with my overall decision. Like I said first off, this film had my attention from the get-go. I thoroughly enjoyed it! For me it had a lot of things going for it.

The story fits today's truth about what this current generation thinks about Christmas and Santa Clause or lack thereof. Santa has to resort to keeping Christmas alive and paying the bills just like the rest of us by any means possible including defending himself against haters. The story still delivers the age old tradition of Santa's list of Naughty and Nice kids and the resulting consequences of their actions. Well worth watching! Great cast too. Mel gibson is awesome as a badass Santa and Mrs. Clause... well let's just say I wouldn't mess with her either.
