This ‘girl power’ film is a perfect example of why movies focused SOLEY on strong independent women should not exist. Even if there was any bit of substance to the male characters, I may not have had this view, but there was not even an attempt to give any of the male characters a personality, apart from sebastian stan of course. Instead the writers just killed them off in hopes to show the resilience of women in a ‘mans world’. My expectations were not high, and even then they were not met. The sloppy writing simply portrays most of the men as pigs, while allowing EVERY SINGLE FEMALE character in the film to have their own moment of forced empowerment. This film was a waste of time, money and talent. Worse than the holocaust.
