The whole point of this movie is clearly a realistic view on a cat and mouse game. The killers enjoy the thrill of the hunt. And it’s very realistic in that point, because generally “real life killers” do, and “just because you were home” fits into almost a cult vibe of them practicing how to kill and whatnot. At the end they even say *spoiler idk?* “it’ll get easier next time” the movie is a scary and realistic take on a home invasion with more sinister intentions. The only complaint I have is why arm yourselves in the beginning to protect yourself but not throughout? But again it’s a movie, and while loosely based on true events, it’s still a movie. I was on the edge of my seat the whole time, and did not expect the ending.
