Never heard a Native use the term "mota"...

To even base a COMEDY off of the Vietnam War is simply tasteless. So Stiller....do the same with an Agfgan/Irani theme. Bet a TON of people will find that hilarious. Typical Hollywood at its finest showing bad taste. And Tom Cruise is in this? I thought he was on the mothership already. I won't even go past the first 5 minutes. Bad taste...all around.

Another of Hollywood's finest.I know, I know...years late to review this film but guess I'm still hoping for people to think for themselves. Research, make your own decisions. Knowledge is power. Knowledge is certainly not Hollywood.

Most definitely a classic! I've watched it a million times over the past 20+ years and EVERY TIME I seriously laugh out loud. (I guess that's coined LOL now) anyway...what always gets me is that I can still catch a hilarious nuance many years later! Totally hilarious. I'm super sure it is now part of this "cancel culture". If that's the case....lighten up! This movie is so damn funny! Don't critique like it's debuting at Cannes. Enjoy, laugh and don't take life so seriously!

Thanks for the laugh, wit and perspective! I'll have to watch it like 20 times to get all nuisances. Well done. We need more of that these days.

All I can say is WOW. Anything goes in Hollywood. Dumbfounded. Sounds like I may be the only one to think so in regards to this film. WAY overrated, way overrated director. I might want to watch a Jonny Depp movie before this ummm...whatever it is. Marisa Tomei rocks. Always has. Always will. Again...WOW or should I say WHAT?
