Do not listen to these "professional movie critics" saying this movie is bad, stupid, or silly. In my opinion it is more than just monsters slapping each other around and I think it does have a relatively intriguing and great story. Not to mention the amazing visuals and magnificent monsters. All in all this film is nail-biting-ly good! Worth your money, promise.
