Ip man 2, may at times missed it for me especially considered he was knocked out by twister, but fortunately not down for the count, and I had to just accept that. The British villians were so over the top cringy, that I felt like, that was hard to handle as well. However, the reconciliation between IP Man and Jin Shanzhao was so great, and of itself made up for my prior comments. I loved this former foe humbled, and redeemed to become a genuine likeable character. Which is everything to expect out of these movies. Overall same fight moves, which is a common compliant I read. I always love the sequences though, and if your expecting something diferent, your looking to the wrong movies. I think people will miss the point of "wing chung" and an inspired story of the IP man, by just looking for MMA; just dont expect a double leg takedown or arm bar. I loved the initial ceremony to teach in Hong Kong that was fun, showcasing a variety of styles.
