I've never played or been interested in league of legends. so naturally I didn't care for this show, however after seeing plenty of recommendations from YouTube film critics giving it very high praise, I gave it a watch. I'm so so glad I did, Arcane is a gorgeous, gripping and expertly written series. You don't need to know any lore or anything about league of legends to have a good time with this show. every episode brings something interesting into the equation and the characters are well fleshed out and likeable. I loved the conflict and love in Vi and Jinx's relationship and even felt pretty sympathetic for the antagonist. watch this show, you won't regret it, it's really something special.
