I loved everything about this album ! Jisoo made a statement "This is who i am musically" she reinforced herself music wise and defined herself as in "This is what I am comfortable doing" while still having a darker concept than what we saw previously with "Flower/all eyes on me" - Although "Earthquake" is built similar to "Flower" it doesn't sound the same AND is an upgrade (production wise) - I am expecting "You love" to be in a Romance movie like "To all the boys i've loved before" and honestly this movie popped you in my mind while listening to the snipet (and still do while listening the the full song), Jisoo's voice on the track is holding so much emotion and the lyrics are so poetic.... I can't understand how some people don't believe that she wrote the lyrics juste cause "she doesn't speak English" or "Her English suck ask her to hold up a conversation with you and you'll see her true English level" as if writing a song was like holding up a conversation????? - One of my favorite songs on the EP (I love them all) is "Tears" I love the message so much and this time the xenophobic hater can't say much cause the song is in Korean....but Jisoo's voice in it is so "Professional" I will try to explain what I mean by that, since we didn't get to hear Jisoo's vocals potential in BP, Tears having a vocal rang not so far from Jisoo's one but still feeling incredibly new to my ears that's what I consider "Professional" it's like being able to suprise me while still doing something that we already know about her, AND THE BRIDGE ?????? She is taking is, also riming "Cheers" with "Tears" cause in a way she is saying that "instead of crying for you, I will be drinking cause I am over you" is so genius - My 2nd favorite song "Hugs&Kisses"....She did her big one with this track because when I heard the snipet I was thinking "Oooouh now this is a song that could be a K-drama ost in a scene where the FL and the ML are childhood friends and they confess in front of a beachy sunset after a long day playing and swimming" but NO NO NO NO NO, The lyrics hit you with "He is a cheater, gasligher, and he thinks that his hugs and kisses will make me stay" I was speechless....I love when an artist have a dreamy, fairy, ascending production but the lyrics are the opposite, love how she delivers the song and her voice in it Overall Jisoo is an "Artist" not a singer, not a performer but an ARTIST, she may have been overshadowed in the past but she is going to be big and delivers each time I am sure of it, people/haters will always discret her work in BP for no reason while she with the company of Jennie wrote THE best BP song "Lovesick girls" but people only credit Jennie for it......I am do excited to see what she has in store for us SOOYAS while still have Fashion weeks, Photoshoot, Filming and I heard that she is working on a full album (not confirmed)......my hard working girl ! I AM SO PROUD OF YOU JISOO !
