I disagree with some people who found the story line shallow and weak. In fact, compared to other pinoy movies and considering that this is a sequel to a very successful movie (HLG), I was satisfied with the results. Though some minor characters were really OA.. the acting of the main characters are impressive. The way they delivered their lines before the bed scene was surreal. The script makes sense. The conflict after conflict was intense.. though some parts may lack smooth transition, still the way they integrate HLG to HLA draws the memory lane to me. I myself is an OFW, some parts may be over the top but it was reasonable.. this is a romcom! I wanted more.. not because it lacks the story.. I wanted more because I wanted to see how the characters stood up on their decision to stay together. Yes, maybe for some there should be no second chances, but didn’t you hear what she says? She tried to ignore her feelings and pursue her dreams, but reality slaps her the truth that her Joy is found in Ethan. The End.

Omg! I don’t know why it always happen when I don’t have any idea about a jdrama and I start watching it, it turns out to be the best of the bests! I got obsessed with the characters here.. I am a teacher and I can totally relate! Our role is very noble in society and it has a big responsibility. The story was presented in a subtle yet meaningful ways. It tackles sensitive issues and all the character’s POV are well presented. I just hope that there were more scenes in the ending coz I really want to see Hijiri and Kuroiwa to be super happy together! They deserve it.
