Such a difference from the violence level of American cop shows. The characters display high levels of intelligence, insight, compassion and the foibles of believable proportions. Makes a darn good who-dunnit with beautiful scenery to top it off.

Love this show. The characters were so well cast and the acting is superb! The sets, costumes & general atmosphere play such a huge part of these shows, and were so well done. If you liked the Alienist you'll love Vienna Blood.
