I think I seen enough of this show to leave an honest review, I want to keep it brief but I could rant as well let’s see where to start, I fell into this TV because I needed something to watch think that’s pretty common it’s 2025 so looking at season 1 was hard I had hope but after the 2,400 kidnapping I was overwhelmed the show made me claustrophobic I didn’t even know that was possible, so if you want to watch a kidnapping fest season one will be for you I guess. Season 2 & 3 were okay jack wife and daughter are unbearable and the kidnapping between them brought anxiety when directors brought them back into the plot, one of the main points of the TV show were the relationship between jack and David, after the president passes away the show take a hit. A lot of. The show is very predictable it’s seems the TV show struggles with storytelling & character development. It’s a lot of recycled plots: the director put pressure on CTU, jack disobeys orders and everyone on his side works around the pressure coming from the very people trying to stop the terrorist attack, jack sleeps with someone who betrays him and CTU and it’s always some sort of hostage situation again I understand this show is about terrorism so these are common ways they attack but it would have been nice to see different storylines rather than recycled plots designed to burn time rather than genuinely inspire, motivate or entertain.
