Three negative aspects
1. The EXP share cannot be turned off
2. Shiny Pokémon aren’t shown as shiny out in the wild like in Pokémon GO, only once you enter the encounter
3. You cannot see the gender of your starter when you receive it, so you have no idea of what to name it
