Sinners (2025) is a major letdown. The plot felt recycled, offering nothing new or exciting to the genre. While it tried to be edgy and intense, it ended up relying too heavily on cheap gore and over-the-top blood scenes that looked completely fake. The special effects were underwhelming, and instead of drawing me in, they pulled me out of the story. I had high hopes for this film, but it lacked originality and failed to deliver on almost every front. I’d rate it a disappointing 3 out of 10.
