I'm on week 4 phase 1. I am not sure what to think about this way of eating. It is very strict. Forced me to cook, take lunches and have spent a lot of money on the "right" foods to eat and when. I loved keto and found it a lot easier. Lost weight but did not stick with it. My guess is by the end of 28 days I will have lost 6 lbs, not at all what I expected. I do not have any more energy nor have I curbed my sugar cravings. Giving up coffee and hwc is a big struggle for me. I can give up the alcohol cheese and butter but wow leaving you no dairy options that taste good is hard. There is not one processed food you can have. I get that but realistically I need some kind of snack besides spelt pretzels. A lot of the recipes call for a lot of ingredients which I hate. I'm not a cook. I do like learning about how our body reacts to food and definitely like eating healthy foods, fruit, and grains. I miss egg yolks when a phase and recipe calls for only eat whites. I'll see if I can keep it up ongoing. At this rate I will need to repeat all 3 phases for 4-5 months to lose the weight I want to. Oh and cacao tastes awful. It is no substitute for chocolate.
