My son (1) loves this book. He prefers board books that have photographs rather than drawings and if there is too much “plot” he’s not going to stick around. This book is absolutely full of photos and has the perfect (minimal) amount of text for a new reader—he even tries to read along with each page, which is, frankly, adorable. The last page is a photo of just children’s hands and we always finish the story with him placing his little hand over the others. Definitely a favourite.
