I had high hopes. My mom and I watched it together. After 10 minutes we looked at other and both said this is awful. Angelina is devoid of capturing the essence of Maria. AJ looks to be sleepwalking through this performance. And speaking of, when she stands to sing opera, itโs like someone faking it. This is just a horribly overblown movie with a star, whose time is passed.
