The reading of Dianetics was a life changing experience for me. For the first time in my life I could separate myself from the unwanted thoughts and emotions in my mind. It gave me a lot of hope and a totally new way of analyzing life and people.
It has the philosophical aspect that explains the practical aspects, and it has an answer, with common sense, to human behavior that I never had before.
