I feel like the book is more of coming of age story. I mean pennywise only is in a few chapters with barely any lines. I also think that the book has a little to much cursing throughout. However, the scary parts are 100% amazing. I would reccomend this to people who are ready for a thrilling ride of coming of age stories mixed into one big novel. Like seriously most of the book is about the kids learning life lessons through different experiences with bullying, puberty, and fear.
