I’ve only seen part of “The Zone of Interest” as I had been doing chores and walked into the room where it was already on the television. Now I look forward to seeing entire film from start to finish. What I did see intrigued me and definitely caught my attention! Complex and thought provoking that this can happen in any society. The humans seemed willfully oblivious to the horrific reality next door, as they lived on their dystopian Earth2. Made me ask how one political party’s march to power over all others could create such a permanent stain on our species? How easily we become lemmings, how vulnerable to group think we are, to addiction, to brainwashing, and so stubbornly superstitious, lacking clarity, conscience, compassion and basic responsibility. Sound familiar?

Great acting by everyone in the cast, superb screenwriting, plot keeps you glued to movie as story is revealed, music is sublime, you can get addicted to this nuanced film. To pull it all off means kudos to director and all who added their skills to —Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy (2011) film starring the consummate Gary Oldman. Bravo 👏
