Based solely on historical innacuracies and anachronisms, this movie depicts one of the greatest characters of French history as a ridiculous fool. We owe him one of our bigest modern institutions but the director decided to focus on Bonaparte's relationship with Josephine where he is wrongly depicted as a submissive cuck. Not one single battle is entirely accurate and he appears as a dumb, willfull child when he is proved to be a military genius. A terrible insult to French history.
