If Kiefer Sutherland is in ANYTHING I’ll watch it , and he’s the one who carries this movie on his back despite some terrible dialogue . Best remembered for the gory jaw ripping scene ( 🤢) it’s not a bad movie but it’s not great either . Many people can’t see past Jack Bauer ( 24) and indeed Kiefer does seem to have a hard time shaking him off as he growls and frowns his way through the movie . That aside he gives the role his all ( as he always does ) but the writing could be so much better . Paula Pattern as his nagging wife is pretty decent , as is Amy Smart although she’s only on screen a short time . The ending has baffled people but I’m not sure why to be honest , it’s pretty much explains itself , Ben ( Kiefer ) is now trapped inside the mirrors , that’s why the cut now appears on his other hand , and the writing on the police cars is back to front . I felt quite sad it ended this way as I was hoping he would reunite with his family and have the happy ending we all love 🤣‼️. I have watched Mirrors a few times and it’s enjoyable enough , but I personally found it gory and gruesome as opposed to scary .
