I saw the film yesterday in 4dx version. It was beautifully done! I was a young girl when the original came out and both were equally great in their own right. To compare them would be like comparing apples and oranges. Halle's voice was amazing and my child was engaged and grinning from ear to ear after it was over. I loved the minor alterations from the first version. Definitely a must see!
