Christina Mortlock

The film takes us back to when man was more closely related to the land. It is a simple movie, but displays so many characteristics of human nature, specifically greed. It also shows how love takes so many different forms. I was engaged throughout the entire film. I found Nicholas Cage's portrayal of the disenchanted chef to be honest and real. He had already lost so much, and the pig is almost the last straw.
